Our spring shut-down was all about renovations. We wanted more trees, of course, and two kennel changes: improved in-floor slab insulation and fence replacement. Mission accomplished thanks to FPC Industries for the professional fence, Hydrodig for excavation, KF (Kambeitz) Aggregates for the gravel, and a lot of serious elbow grease by Dan. Shoveling rock, making concrete and moving paving stones is heavy work.
We completed the old east side and plan to do the west side next spring. We didn’t want to do the entire kennel all at once and run the risk of construction delays. Opening without functioning exterior kennels would have been interesting.
We hope you like our improvements.
And, always, trees. Every year, we plant more trees. We’ve lost track of exactly how many, but know it’s way more than 5,000 since 2002.
