Nectar at K-Lane Kennels: A taste of nature

Every honey tastes different depending on its terroir - the apiary's micro-climate, soil type, geomorphology, weather and nectar sources. And each year, local honey will taste different depending on the weather and moisture conditions.

Our early season white honey is a delightful blend of wildflowers, fruit tree blossoms, summer garden essence, borage, alfalfa and canola.

Our autumn amber honey concentrates sunflowers, cosmos, borage, alfalfa and even more wildflowers.

The following photos are of our bees making our honey on our intensely bird and wildlife-friendly yard for your pleasure.
